What is it
A free online declaration that records your new home address against your residence permit.
Do I need it
Yes, if you hold a residence card valid for more than a year and you have moved, whether within the same commune or to another one.

Passport — the civil status pages, the validity dates and the entry stamps
Proof of address less than 3 months old
An e-photo code, only if you also want a new card
Cost
The declaration itself is free. A replacement card, if you ask for one, costs €50 in tax stamps — free for EU, EEA and Swiss nationals and their family members, and for holders of a withdrawal agreement permit.
What happens next

- You receive an attestation of the declaration. Keep it.
- Having a new card made is not compulsory.
